Spring Cleaning

Any time the temperature rises above 40 degrees here in the Northeast, it feels like spring.  Ask my kids…they decide it is warm enough not to wear coats to school but I digress.

So I am doing my part to clean up the UFOs for some brand new project knitting!

The Ernie and Bert Silk Scarf (because my gf decided that the 2 colors together reminded her of their shirts)  is complete.  Perfect bright accessory for spring!

Pattern: none really, just some garter, stockinette and a ruffle

Yarn: Debbie Bliss Pure Silk in a salmon and raspberry?, 2 skeins each with leftovers

Needles: size 5 Addi Clicks

Also, the Garter Cowl, which sat patiently for a kitchner seam, is done and gifted!

Pattern:  Inspired by Brooklyn Tweed’s Quincy Hat, i-cord egded garter rectangle with a seam. Easy.

Yarn:  Paton’s Shetland Chunky

Needle: Size 10.5 Addi, 16 inch.

Next up, a sweater whose pieces I really do love and have loved for 2 years!  The pieces are well knit and yet have never lived up to their potential.  WHY? I do not know.  And a foot.

Do you have any plans to spring clean your UFOs?
