I am thrilled to release my latest pattern for the Marrowstone Shawl. It has been in the works since my vacation to Washington State for Sock Camp and my travels in the area. Marrowstone Island is off of the coast and host to beautiful beaches and sights and was the inspiration for the lace in this shawl.
Marrowstone may be worn as a shawl, scarf or neck warmer and depending on your yarn choice, any season. It was designed with the active lifestyles of many in mind and thus is a great project for those on-the-go days.
The pattern is written in two sizes using 350-450 yards of fingering yarn on size 5 needles. Marrowstone is designed in Valley Yarns Charlemont Kettle Dye and Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock Lightweight.
If you don’t have a chance to visit Marrowstone, try wearing it!
Beautiful! Nicely done. Off to check Rav for the pattern so I can queue it 🙂
Very pretty Marcy. I’m digging those narrow shawly/scarf types right now. :0)
Lovely! Glad to see you are keeping busy! 🙂
Nice! Now if I just had some yarn to knit it with… haha!
I love this pattern! Is it difficult to make it wider?
